About Us
Pinpoint is a platform where early-stage startups and SMEs are transformed into investment-ready powerhouses, connecting them to capital and catalysts for success.
Our Story
Since 2017, some of our founding team members have been offering legal consultancy to startups in Africa. This was from a startup-friendly law firm in Lagos, Nigeria. In the course of our work, we witnessed firsthand the passion, innovation, and resilience of innovators and entrepreneurs. Despite their potential, one common factor was noticeable—many startups and SMEs, especially early-stage, struggle to secure capital.
We generally believed that the major blocker to securing capital is simply the absence of money. But we were wrong! The real blocker was more profound—the lack of investment readiness.
Realizing the delicate difference between access to capital and investment-readiness, this insight inspired something bigger—a platform where founders can transform their early-stage startups and SMEs into investment-ready powerhouses to attract capital. This is why we founded Pinpoint.
